Will Alan Bloore defend everything the club have done?

    Of course he will

and will he be able to slip in a few comments bragging about his free England tickets and England home & away travel? Cos he always used to when i used to go.

And i wonder what all those old sods that always sat on the front row make of it, i bet they've been discussing it at training this morning.

I see he's got his bunch of free transfers to Chelsea

for the next round.Didn't cost the £2m we've spent either AND it's one Chelsea ticket per season ticket. Proper manager!

    Just back

Don Rowing was somewhat appologetic..insisting that they could not foresee the demand (ffs pff pull the other one). Admitted that if the same situation arose again then it will clearly be one st,, one ticket...lets see. The trust had recommended one ticket per st but the club chose to take its own course of action. (GS was apparantly not involved in the decision)

I asked him why there was a policy on a web site stating "turn up in person" to buy tickets yet the club allow fistfulls to be sold to individuals with the vouchers...sidestepped the web site issue and then one on the trust committee sent us off on a tangent.

Plenty of bother in the queue, supporters trust members helped all day in the box office who worked tirelessly despite late/disordered tickets from LFC. Last ticjket sold at abart 8.50pm despite closing time being 5.00pm

All in all it was indicated that the club was prepared to listen to the trust in formulating a fairer system of distribution and that the trust would welcome ideas from all in order to come up with a plan to suit BFC. Please pm Owen or Ex City TYke or the trust with any reasonable suggestions.

Rowing went on to outline transfer dealings / contracts. In a nutshell its hard for us to loan out players as they are on good money and none of the clubs interested would make a significant enough contribution.

Nobody really asked any marketting questions as there was not much time. TBH it would have been a pointless excercise..like asking a polar bear about salad.

Lots of other stuff I cant remember.

Was it useful? Who knows, there were a significant number of disgruntled loyal supporters who got at least an opportunity to vent their spleen in person at a club official who had at least the balls to turn up.

IMHO much of Mr Rowing's responses were unsatisfactory but then again thats because I think the clubs actions have been nothing less than incompetant and there's nowt he could have said that would placated me.

PS..if I had a ST, plenty of away stubs and no liverpool ticket I would be down to the club demanding some sort of recompense.

did he say exactly who did make the decision?

was it the same person that cocked up the play-off semi final? and wil lthat person be stepping down from the responsibility of making them again?

was there any explaination as to why they didnt beleive the trust or the hype before they made their decision and was it based on any evidence or just purely a guess?

tuesday night, early league cup round, only? 1800 solld...ffs on a stick what a good analgous situation that was.

Did not get chance to ask who made the decision but I suspect it was Mr Rowing.

    they based it on that?

    jesus christ.

That's probably why we have no home shirts left for sale either, probably based estimated demand on how many of that horrible lime green away kit we sold the other year.

I don't think he was aware that wording had been used on the website. It wasn't supposed to have been.

    That was my view

I've heard I'll look into to it far too many times.

I find it unbelievable that even Rob knowles would have posted rules for purchase of tickets without a proof read or even the text drafted by someone of authority.

Furthermore he said he would continue to allow sales to folks with fistfulls of ST's which in my opinion is scandalous.
