If you could strengthen only 1 area of our squad before the transfer window closes

    Which would it be???

For me its got to be the defence.... Moore nursing a knock and Kozzie out of form, yes we have Potter (Who I rate) but nothing else.

its interesting how things change.... A month ago 90% of people on here including me would have said attack.

    Me too...

But that's one area we haven't really strengthened in.

We've lost Souza and Van Homeot and only brough him in Thompson. Yes Potter will be seen as Van Homeot's replacement but he could have been used last season and wasn't chosen to - would have prefered him to VH to be honest! Ideally, i'd say we need another full back in; left sided?

Van Homeot was used as a right back and left back the 2 years he was with us.

Not really. He played left back for quite a while last season, and at times the season before.

Don't see Potter getting played at right back put it this way.

    At least one striker, please.

We're fine for numbers in midfield. I guess we could put Colace at centre-back if we needed to.

The defence does look pretty thin, though.

Not sure it was a case of Potter not being chosen

He was on loan gaining valuable first team experience, and by all accounts did well. In that sense he is a replacement as he wasn't available last season. Plus he's cover for two positions.</p>

Still would like another defender though
