£40 for the last four games which could propel us into the play offs. That could be a huge boost to the home crowds - any chance I wonder? I don't begrudge non season ticket holders getting such a deal. Just rather see seats filled instead of empty. We need some good support to push the team over the line. It's a cracking end to the season
Hm, but they would have to be second in line behind season tickets. We wouldn't get many tickets at places like Swindon or Rochdale should we play them, so it wouldn't be fair for season ticket holders to miss out. Having said that though, many might not fancy a trip to Swindon.
They won't do a deal over a period of games where folks save around twenty quid more than season ticket holders. Our form has been good enough without the need for a cheap deal. No way would the club let people in for the Rochdale game on the cheap as they have an hard enough job to keep the idiots off the pitch after the last game.
Yes well, this ought to be the season when we took that particular problem seriously. Imagine a few numpties haring towards our favourite Lancastrian manager at the end. Could be carnage! Surely, SURELY we can have some proper security in place to prevent this. I know I am whistling in the wind and "it's only young lads having a good time", but it's NOT, is it. It's just plain stupid. If we do secure a play off spot I want the chance to say thank you to the players and management for making that possible. Hundreds of idiots swarming across the grass prevent that.
If a 9 game unbeaten run playing some decent football just out of the play offs on goal difference doesn't bring fans to the stadium why should we offer cheap tickets to entice them? It's not like were charging £35 a ticket is it???
4 games for £60 equal season ticket deals. £60 for 4 a great idea although finding £60 in six days for many could be issue.
I agree but some people need a little incentive. I'm not saying that it would be easy to find that small lump sum this week, for some, but I just think it's worth trying to get some extra bodies in the ground. It would be a shame, for example, if we get to the Rochdale game needing only to win to finish 6th and the usual 8 or 9 thousand turn up, plus the 450 from Rochdale of course
If we need a result against Berkdale there will be more than 9,000 home fans but I would be in favour of a chew picket for that particular game. Not for the away fans though.
How's about people have to pay full price for the blades game (tickets already sold, our form and opposition should be enough of a draw) then a £30 for last 3 games deal?
They can do whatever deal they like. So long as the resulting deal doesn't beat whatever the cost per game a season ticket gets.
I think a £10 adult with child under 12 free for the Rochdale game and giving them ( away fans ) the bottom half of the the west stand with tickets going on sale now would be good for the club imo
