soz if allready asked but how was it ?regarding how many fans and the buz of the win.nursing the biggest hangover av ever had, am fooked.
It was quality. I was still very sore yesterday morning about missing out on Anfield and thought that the beam back would be a damp squid. But the East Stand was rocking (it felt like a normal game being in there), the picture quality was spot on, the commentary was from the BBC, as when I watched MOTD last night it was like de ja vue, and was turned up so loud you thought you were actually there. When the second went in there was a mini pitch invasion!! So glad I went - it made me feel that I was still 'part of it' yesterday. If I ever missed out on tickets again due to a restricted allocation, and the club put a big screen on again, I would definitely do it again. Top day.
Barry "Spud" Murphy Watched the entire game on "that big telly" sat next to him in the exec. The guy played for us for 18 years or so, is Barnsley through and through. It was great to hear his comments on the game he knows what he is on about. All through the 2nd half he kept saying "We're gonna get something". He was right. At the end we finished up hugging each other. What a top bloke. He was near tears like the rest of us.
