Great signing for them in my opinion.

I wonder how he will fit into their neat passing style. wonder if they'll let us have Brian stocks....

Scored a great goal at Norwich on his debut for us - but tbh has looked completely out of his depth since then. Admittedly, he hasn't been given that many opportunities but when he has he's done nothing. Didn't even figure on the bench recently.

I thought it was a decent signing at £100k by Dave Jones as he always seems to do well against us - just one of those bogey players for us I guess having seen him in the not inconsiderable flesh.

Certainly doesn't fit in with Malky Mackays work ethic so I'm not surprised he's been farmed out on loan.

He would definately give teams a "different" option though.

Stock's made of glass! I think JP is a fine asset for their style, he's the type of jack in the box nippy striker you need, exactly the type of player they are needing until Billy Blunt comes back......like someone says on their forum, "who on earth's he going to hold it up for?"

Nippy? I bet thats the first (and only) time Parkin has ever been described as nippy lol.

Sloth-like yes. Nippy? Unless they can convince him that the ball is in fact a giant cake, he'll not get much past first gear.

He does appear to be on the brittle side but he is a very good box to box player who gets a few goals and he fits into the budget at oakwell ie cheap wages and he is out of contract I think in the summer.
Still could be worse could have addison in the midfield....

it was a p*ss take mate saying he's a complete opposite to the injured strikers he's replacing....

In fact the story was taken off their site earlier, have we nicked another player off them with a better offer??

Shouldn't our nickname for him be Breast, given he must be at least a B cup.
