Went on to the 6th round and lost to Leicester city after a replay in front of 39250 fans (me included) incidently there was only 6278 fans at that Bradford game and we were in the same division as we are now and in the next round we played a team from the same division spooky or what ?
curious thing though when we played Huddersfield at home in round 4 in front of 29k+ fans by the time we played Leicester in round 6 there was another 10,000 fans at the game .

It's also worth pointing out that both the cup replays against Huddersfield and Leicester were midweek afternoon kick-offs (no floodlights at Oakwell then). Bunked off school (oh the shame) for the Huddersfield game, but by the time the Leicester game came around, local schools closed for the afternoon. It was a bit of a crush n'all on the Grove Street terrace.

Remember that season very well. Attended Wath Park Road school who put on a bus to take us to the Leicester match. Also recall the late Derek Cook going onto the pitch after a couple of leicester fans also ran on with a ball,Derek took the ball and scored. What memories. I went to every one of the cup games.
