Interesting book by Peter Doggett which gives a warts and all, 'fly on the wall' perspective of the Beatles from the moment they imploded to the current day. Catalogues the bitter recriminations, the arguments, the accusations, the skull-duggery and the court battles. Casts light on John Lennon and Paul McCartney far from the traditional fond view we're used to. Doesn't even spare Ringo Starr or George Harrison. Amazing pettiness involved at time, but huge sums of cash too. Worth a read.
Yeah, it's a tremendous book. "FAB" by Howard Sounes is also worth checking out for similar reasons - going for £5 in that cheapo bookshop.
