I'm glad...

he might struggle with his final ball, but Lennon will scare them to death with his pace. Glad Crouch is fit too, because whilst Premier League defenders have worked him out, players abroad always struggle against him, hence his very good Champions League record.

    3-0. Crouch, Rooney and Lampard.

PS. This will definately come back to haunt me at the end of the game when we have lost 2-0.

Beckham would have started for me. But he does look like a very useful sub for England. Lennon can start with his pace to work the LB, Beckham can come on and add some quality when there are tired legs, or earlier if Lennon isn't working. Personally I don't rate Lennon (he will have a cracking game now).

Beckham would have been my choice to start over Lennon, but either way he'll for sure get on at some point....

Crouch will be hoping he does for the pinpoint crosses Beckham will provide him with, but both of them in my book are top Quality Players....

2-0, Gerrard and Rooney to score....Hopefully, come on England.... (england)

    It's Stupid

They put Beckham stats up against Lennnon and Shaun Wright Phillips and Beckham pisses it with everything. He should be starting.

Totally agree mate. I don't rate Lennon at all. Yes he's quick and tricky but his final ball is about as useful as one Sir Douglas Bader could muster.

    Yeah Lennon Isn't Good Enough

Playing the shitty Spurs man over the AC Milan player with the much better stats. Another thing is if we had lost tonight this BBS would have been much busier. Where's the praise for grinding out the win?

david pleat was doing my tits in last night, crowing about lennon

no spurs bias there then. his crosses are awful, hardly ever beat his man, and never gave johnson a way out from full back.

We need a list of games he's played in.

That's the most comprehensive way of determining a players value to the side.
