Been 40mph winds at the golf, so they have suspended play, shame.

Would have been fun watching them cope with the conditions.

Some did get sent out in it, and dropped shots. Bit unfair.

No but you're not playing in a world class tournament where your opponents haven't had to play in it. I don't see your point tbh.

Been at St Andrews yesterday and today. Unplayable today out at the far end of the course. Hard work standing up.

I always though that was luck of the draw. Like rain etc. I've played when it's rained, and I mean proper rained, and others have walked off. Winning mentality.

My point is that they forced some players out to play in unplayable conditions and then decided it was unplayable, probably because of the performance that the ones they'd forced to play in it. Unfair on the ones who were made to go out, only would have been fair had they carried on letting players out.

To be fair to the Officials when they tested the greens the balls weren't moving, 45 minutes later they were and they called them in .

That may well be but still seems unfair on those players in hindsight.

Golfs not a fair game, outcomes, cuts etc often are governed by the weather, particularly in Scotland You can play your socks off for three and half rounds, be leading then get the wrong end of a storm in the last few holes and blow it

So it's unfair? Which is what I said at the start.
