Anyone? Here you've got two fans "flooding back" to the glory days at Oakwell, surely someone can help us out? I never bought matchday tickets as I had a season ticket so what's the score for folk arriving on matchday from too far away to "pop into the box office" during the week? Is it worth heading to the ground before the pub and picking up a ticket from the box office or can we just pay at the turnstile? If the latter, is this just for certain parts of the ground (presumably all stands are available via the box office)? The official site is sadly lacking such information, other than stating the box office's opening hours. It would be easy to be put off by the lack of info - another example of the club not always helping itself. I could buy a ticket online I know but there seems little point if I can pay on the day. TIA
RE: Anyone? You can always pay on the day however they only give crap seats out on the turnstiles ie right in the corner of the east stand near ponty end. If you want to choose a seat then the box office is the only option.
RE: Nice one. Thanks. would'nt worry too much about crap seats when its not full most people just wait while the season ticket holders are in look for the empty bits and sit where they want anyway
Cheers lads...almost given up hope of any interest!! Can't wait to come back after a year or so away.
I think that the box office stops selling tickets for the m atch at 1:30 after that its Turnstiles only I think the official reason is to allow fans to buy tickets for future games, away matches etc.
RE: Anyone? Not quite right.
I have been in the East stand lower for the last few games and on the turn stile I asked if they could give me a ticket in the 50s.
Been sat in seats 50 to 67 so far. I did get my Blackpool ticket in advance though.
