    Been on holiday for a week (Greece island)
    When I left there were reports that as many as 80 were dead due to the Katrina Hurricane - gets back and all this lot
    What happened ???
    Has the famous street (Burbon Street) in New Orleans been flooded
    Hell fire !!!

    Could be up to 10,000 dead.

    Bourbon Street and rest of French Quarter didn't get flooded - great interview on Radio 5 last night with a bar owner (Johnny White's bar I think) whose motto is that they never close and they stayed open throughout the hurricane and are still open! Said the authorities will have to drag them out!
