I thought they had to give you 90 days consultation?

 

make sure they have done it right ,u can get more compensation if u look into it, i was made redundant and didnt get 90 days and got another 8 weeks pay

 

If the amount of employees do not exceed 30 at one site they do not have to consult. They need to pay according to the statutory list. If in doubt go to ACAS site under A-Z look at 'Redundancy' you can calculate your pay from the table on this site.

However always remember, when one door closes, another opens, and the new door opens usually to a better room.

 

Is it 30 for unionised labour?</p>

I am sure its 20 for consultation , hence 18 getting made redundant tomorrow where I work.</p>
