I don't know much about either teams and was busy at work so couldn't speak to the kid at work much but he was saying that even though woking are 5 leagues above Goole, their in the **** at the mo with no players but goole have had some money pumped into them and got some very good players (for their standards).

What' thee mate been sniffing as Goole are playing Worksop Town toneet. Worksop almost got into the Conference North and broke the league record scoring 160+ goals. Millionaire backer saying not putting any more money in as moving down south and club goes into free fall and resigns from NPL and ends up in NCEL with Athersley Rec and Aqua. To save the Club the Fans took over and came up with plan to raise £100.000 to help save club which is the 4th oldest. So far £55.000 raised but long way to go. If you can get 5-1 for Goole that's not bad as Worksop have only signed 5 players as the rest trialists. The successful team from last year all picked off by higher league teams ala Donny. For those interested young Jake Scott stayed and is now Club Captain ex Reds Academy. And for those who say Cryne out beware the grass is not always greener on the other side.

It was on paddy power till about 20 minutes before kick off then betting was suspended and it disappeared....

 

I looked on bet365, Ladbrokes, WHill, Coral, none had it listed.

I walked into Ladbrokes at first and they couldn't find the match. I ended up finding the game on Sky Betting, so managed to put my bet on with them.

It's a shame for the fans that the owner has done what he's done.

 

We lost the lot but Tom was a crowd favourite and has endeared himself more as he has bought into the 500 Club to help save the Club....top man. Whereas as the player (no names) who was signed by Rochdale was quite rude when approached. Now the Reds v Rochdale is one match I will go to and he will get roots toot!
