No Dean Windass even on the bench today! He would be well worth getting on a loan if possible, a month or 3 months or long as possible!

    Agreed.

Go for the strikers Ritchie wanted 'cos Davey wouldn't know a striker if they hit him in the face!

    RE: Leon Knight?

Point still stands on Cadamarteri. The strikers we have now are a damn sight better than the likes of Tommy Wright and Marc Richards

Marc Richards and Tommy Wright were bought to do a job in league 1.

Nobody predicted we were going to be promoted.

Oh aye, that's why we're knocking goals in left, right and centre!

Even Davey doesn't trust most of the strikers he's signed!

Cristensen, KO, Mossto?Better strike rates than Wright and Richards, like ****!

**** off back darn sarf yu muppet!

Cadermateri was a proven player at Premiership level

not like foriegners and division 2 and 1 players.

I would not have signed him but he was PROVEN at this level. Plus Richards scored more goals at this level than KO, Mostto and Christensen, Tommy Wright , OK I will give you that one

    :D

Tommy wright just got sold for £100k Mark.

That's more than we will get for KO, Cristensen and Mossto when they've gone. Wright cost nowt, they cost £1m between them! Let the yokel do the maths, if he can count! :D

I just remember his debut at Chesterfield when he missed about six absolute sitters

Misread your post at first - thought you meant we got 100k for him

    Did we get owt?

I don't recall Wright setting the championship alight, I just remember him physically abusing defenders most of the time. KO had a very decent record in league 2 if I'm not mistaken. Mostto, whilst never getting much of a chance, is still an international striker.

You're a pillock, and everybody knows it

RE: Cadermateri was a proven player at Premiership level

He was, but a good few years ago now, and even then, he's never really been that prolific at any level.

Richards was decent, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Mostto score as many/more as Richards if he was given the same sort of run of games that Richards had

Richards was never good enough for the Championship but he was better than Odejayi and 200k less

I still have nightmares about that miss against Leeds though

He is still playing at a good level tho`

I never thought anything very complimentary about him myself.

I cannot understand why some people get all excited that we have signed under 21 Internetional, just how many ever go on to be great players? Tommy Wright is a prime example of how the step from promising youngster to top flight player is bigger than it is thought, Colace anyone?????

Wrong again yokel boy. Aberdeen wanted him. For £100K.

Do you think we'll get £100K for KO? Really?

    Lol.

And Richards/Wright were so good that they both were released.

There's little doubt that Wright was/is ****. Mostto has proven himself in his own country to the point of playing in numerous internationals, maybe he's not cut out for English football, but still a damn sight better than Wright

You're wrong and you know it.

Furthermore, Hume and Macken are streets ahead of any strikers we've had for a good few years. So f**k off
