    is that correct?
So maybe only got to contend with hours of queuing at traffic lights on the other side now.

But get on after Silkstone Common so there's room for me to get on. Thanks in advance.

I'm getting on at Dodworth so I'll put a jacket on a seat to reserve it. 11:07.

No exaggeration there. Mottram crossroads is a nightmare. I've never tried it but it might be a good idea instead of queuing up all the way up the hill in the left hand lane of the dual carriageway, to over take all the traffic, bear right at the top, follow that road up, before turning left at the mini roundabout and joining the much much shorter queue coming in to the crossroads from a different direction. It could save 15 minutes, it just means going two sides of a triangle.

Coming back there will probably be a big queue coming off the M67, again caused by the Mottram crossroads. Everyone will be the left hand lane on the M67 looking to go straight on across the roundabout, but it often saves me 20 minutes going up the right hand lane which moves much quicker and going all the way around the roundabout where the queue then has to give way to you.

Go over Saddleworth Moor then into Oldham and down A62 then onto A6010. That's as long as snow keeps off.

And that is exactly what winds me up. Did the trip back from Crewe on Tuesday and this is exactly what people were doing which meant it was harder for people who actually had patience to queue to get out
