    We're having the family round tomorrow for the Euro final, going to get the beer and wine from Asda, I'm fancying a change, I usually drink bitter bit thinking a stout might be nice, something that keeps its head, not too sweet, any recommendations welcome.

    Probably a bit late but Lidl were doing specials last week and the had a maple syrup stout 7.4% at 1:79 a can and it was gorgeous .
    If you drop on it I’d recommend but you’ll probably pay dearer elsewhere I would imagine .

    Homebrew competition winner.

    Prize is that the beer is brewed commercially but where they were planning to brew it is unsure they can do a beer that strong on the kit they have.
