We got three points at the death against Ipswich I suppose this is the other side of the same coin. Still feel gutted.
Had it been us that scored the injury time winner We'd have overtaken Wednesday and been level on points with United. Bugger it, we'll do it on Saturday instead, then.
RE: We got three points at the death against Ipswich But we've lost it at the death dozens of times the last few years. The Ipswich game is the only time I can remember us winning it. I stupidly thought a change of manager might have seen an end to the last minute defeats, but here we go again. I'm ****** off.
Two points at the death... we would have already securred one with a draw ...sorry!
Under Robbins we are one point up as a result in last gasp goals.

I don't get this. The Ipswich game has gone, those points are in the bag. We should have had 1 point last night. We worked hard enough for it, which disguised the lack of quality in the performance.
Being extremely partisan I thought Gray was fouled prior to their goal, but there you go. Fowl/foul.

I agree, he was. Ref gave us **** all like. It was then too easy for them to cut through our "midfield".
You are right of course... ... but last year we lost 16 points in the last five minutes of games and didn't gain one, at least we're one up ! (sound of straws being clutched )
Of all the games I've seen under Mark Robins last night's most closely resembled Davey's games - poor midfield, defensive tactics and a lapse late on costing points.
However, if I read Robins correctly he'll address the issues. imho even in the games we've won recently the opposition have been given licence to cut through our midfield. But, it's all work in progress.

It's key that he can get... a nasty fecker in the middle of the park who grafts his B*ll*cks off and wins the ball. The closest we have is Doyle for the graft and the pressuring of the ball.
ADS = central midfielder. End of. He's not the ball winner, but he puts his foot on it and controls the tempo of the game. Why he's put out wide baffles me.
Dunno if Robins doesn't want to play 2 wingers but if he doesn't, then he needs to sort out how to accomodate 1 winger and 3 'central' midfielders in that system. On face value I'd have either Halfredsson or J Gray left side midfield. And as you say Doyle or Colace alongside ADS.
The lack of closing down and getting to the second ball pissed me off last night, added to the fact one or two don't look fit.
