    ... and their multi-million "superstars", who's the most expensive player you've seen at Oakwell?

    We've got Valencia tomorrow with a certain David Villa playing for them - but while Dai is sure to command a decent fee if he leaves, I think it's Rio Ferdinand at £19m (when at Leeds obviously) who's the most expensive I've seen against Cardiff.

    And there's us eagerly waiting to bring free transfer and loan players in. Who needs money eh :D

    Maybe David Beckham from when he went to Madrid. Saw him play for England. Or one of the Chelsea players, Essien, Anelka or SWP.

    In our 97/98 season we must have seen a few players that would have been worth 20 million plus in todays money. Alan Shearer 15 million, at the time weren't that a British record?

    Looks like it was Essien at £24m - cos SWP was a snip at a mere £21m :D

    Thinking about it, Adebeyour would be the most expensive I've seen at Cardiff after his £25m move to Man City.
