I fooking hate Leicester and their classless fans.

However, the FFP in the Championship infraction is basically farting about with copper coins when compared to the utter devastation wreaked by Man City and Chelsea.

Once again, with feeling: I fooking hate Leicester. However, it would be the greatest sporting achievement EVER if they win the thing. They've never spent £10million on a player, and their wage-bill is less than a quarter of Chelsea's.

I so hope they do it.

    And. I. Fooking. 'Ate. 'Em.

    Go back further

and they went into administration and came out of it with no debts and a new ground, the result of this being that the League decided to deduct points from clubs going into admin.

Dodgy dealings seem to be the norm at Leicester.

Played the game and won it seems. Even if found guilty what will happen? 5 million quid fine or so? Probably given to charity, The chairman will get that from the loose change drawer. Same as QPR, clubs couldn't give a toss about FFP

Only reason I want to see Spurs win the league is because of the Leicester fans. Horrible b*stards.

I doubt Leicester are the only club using 'sponsorship' as another way for the owners to pump cash in to the club.

Sheffield Wednesday are sponsored by the chairman. Be interesting to see how much above market value he "paid"

Thought I was in a minority not wanting Leicester to win the league. Hope they implode big time.

Do you really believe Tottenham are lilywhite when it comes to finances?

There won't be a team in the premier league, at least not at the top end, that don't have very creative interpretations of financial rules. Possibly arsenal, they seem to never spend much but then again they will have an astronomical wage bill.

Spurs sold bale for a lot of money, yes - but spent it all, brought more players in last summer, continue to pay top end wages and are paying for a new stadium - on gates of 35k (and the same premier league tv money all the sides get - just about, there is a scale but it is divided up relatively evenly in the premier league, if not down the levels). Doesn't really add up, they must have debts in the hundreds of millions. As much as it would be nice if all clubs played fair and spent only what they had as well as having paid all their debts off, fully living within their means, that apparently isn't how football works at that level. Though I dare say Leicester will actually be amongst the few PL teams to turn a huge profit this year even after giving big pay rises to vardy and presumably a few others.

So as much as a fair few of you might despise Leicester, I can't wish for the league to go to Tottenham, arsenal, man city or anyone else. Leicester is a good story even if they had a bit of an 'unfair' start. They weren't the only club to utilise administration, and it has nothing to do with the current owners or players. It was 14 years ago - the same time Barnsley were in administration too. Yes, there were huge differences, but the fact is we were skint due to continued overspending of the Dennis regime, ITV DIGITAL wasn't the only thing that caused Barnsley's issues, and whilst Leicester's administration might have looked a bit dodgy, given both clubs were in administration at the same time it's a bit rich for us to judge too much. They certainly appear to be well ran now.

I would actually love to see the league won by a team of well coached, hard working, honest football players rather than a large squad of so called stars, at clubs with players on over a hundred grand a week but can't get in the team.

Plus - as I've mentioned before - my old grandad is from Leicestershire originally, went to see Leicester regularly before and after the war (and during). Still has family in and around Melton Mowbray. He's not too well, he's well into his eighties, and I'd love it for him.

I thought you were going implode coming back from Wembley on this topic.
I welcome a team coming from the pack to piss on the big fives chips and it is not the fault of Ranieri and the players, but it will be a shame if the only way is the Leicester model.

By any chance have a friendly disagreement with someone on the Penistone Reds bus? Vigorous whilst agreeing to disagree?

    If so, hi. :)

I had a chat with the guy who organised it, and we were at opposite end of the scale when it came to Leicester, that's for sure.

Which is fine. It'd be dull if we all agreed!

I'd rather see Spurs win the league but if they don't I'd rather see Leicester win it than Arsenal or Man City.
