    No one on here knows for sure the Hammill situation.

    No one on here knows for sure re Gray

    Many other clubs in our league have been in the same boat trying to sign players & getting held up. Are we really going to get our knickers in a twist about what Blackpool do?

    Yes, it's frustrating, but it seems to me some folks are getting a bit too voiciferous without knowing any facts at all. Let's see what happens over the next few days.

    If we don't sign anyone before Saturday, does it have to be a character assasination of one BBS user to another? The pro Davey brigade vs the Told u so brigade??

    We all want to see signings but there's no point slagging each other off on here - it isn't going to make them happen any faster.

    totally agree mate...... think some people on here think signing players is as easy as it appears to be on FM or something........

    the moanin squad that got a mention on saturday night will always moan. we had are break on sunday and now they they are back. they have NO evidence of whats happening but they will alway do what they do. MOAN

    If they sign no one, my job is not on the line, my mortgage will still be paid,food wil be on the table,my future secure. I will sleep soundly at night, I wonder if Simon can safely say the same.

    Afraid to say it will be the "Pro Davey" Vs. "Anti Davey" all season.

    If we win a fixture the "Pro Davey" fans will be out of the closet saying something along the lines of 'well done Simon, great tactics and you proved your doubters wrong, where are the pessimists on here tonight'.

    When we lose a fixture, and i'm afraid to say there will be plenty of them next season with him in charge then the "Anti Davey" fans will come out and say 'He should have gone at the end of the season, not good enough - no improvement, get rid. Where are all the Davey lovers gone tonight?'

    In my opinion he should have gone at the end of the season so a new manager could come in, assess the squad and remove the dead wood, bring in his own players, and maybe attract better. Therefore there will have been a clean slate and everyone would have been on the same wavelength.

    You're right of course

    ... but then there's around 60% of the managers in the division all struggling to do the same thing. Not many clubs have signed players.

    Maybe it's the end of the FOOTBALL AGENT as we know it!! (nodding2fingers)

    It is frustrating but it's typical of alot of clubs at the moment.

    Not moaning but when you are fed lines like.....

    Davey said: "With Adam Hammill we are very close but not signed, sealed and delivered. Unfortunately we have been delayed a little bit because he needs to have his wisdom teeth removed and is having an operation on Monday."

    And then off playing for Liverpool XI same evening !

    Where is the follow up statement from the club after that one.....

    If the tactic this season is to feed us information then stick to it, if not then keep shut about it.

    Don't get me wrong I think Davey has an uphill task getting players here and for numerous reasons.
    You will get no character assasination from me, he manages my team and gets my support at the end of the day, be that misplaced support only time will tell
    but he is the manager and thats it. He will be trying his best and doing what he thinks is best for the Club, he would be a fool not to !

    I'm pretty sure he's aware of the pressure.

    I will sleep soundly at night too - there are far more important things in life to worry about than Charlie Adam signing for Blackpool & a rumour that Adam Hammill has said something on LFC TV that he wants to get in the first team.

    I am confident that
    We are capable of beating teams in our division
    The squad will be strengthened

    I hope it's sooner rather than laster, but I'm just not going to lose sleep over it.

    what im trying to say his surely we all wont to see barnsley do well. when the barnsley fans get behind the team they always do better. look at palace at home . fans got behind the team at 1 down and WE won . this should be not them and us. there not enough of us to be like that

    agents have a massive deal to get aswell. is agent might have said that. all the managers said on rs last night about agents.
