Be an outside bet if they play to their strengths. Didn’t watch them against Slovakia but heard they were poor mixed with being unlucky. If they get the best from Lukaku, Doku, Tielemans and De Bruyne, they can beat anyone. Not the greatest defence which lets them down.
Their real chance I feel was 2018. They had a fantastic squad, alongside a very good defence. On paper they still have a great squad, but looking deeper it's how England's "golden generation" used to be. Lots of animosity within the squad, players sleeping with other players partners, fallings out etc. I don't think they're going to click now, especially with a weakened defence. Though if they do, they can still be very dangerous.
Belgium are so much better to watch than England. Doku is a reight laiker - like Adam Hammill at his best. De Bruyne has taken some very average corners though, not as good as Hourihane's or Mowatt's.
Totally agree. Doku and the other winger have been given the freedom just to attack. Gone 1-0 up and want a second. England aren’t a poor side, just an inept manager.

Let's be honest. And tbf I've seen very little of England over many years. but what I have seen. the many comments not only on here, but footballer pundits. Like watching Paint dry springs to mind. Is any other team of note that bad to watch. ?. I honestly want us to win every game. But unlike Barnsley (a wins a win) I also want to be entertained.
Belgium playing front foot attacking football and not thinking about sitting on there lead but going for more goals something we can only dream about under Southgate.
2016 for me. Losing to Wales in the quarters in a tournament where a dreadful Portugal side fluked the tournament. I think they did well in 2018. Beat Brazil & lost narrowly to France in the semis. Still a missed chance but at least they didn’t lose to a weaker side.
