    Next is about 12000 I think then up to well over 20000.

    Why us, why this area ? Are we still blaming the miners strike?

    yes mate Thatcher and the strike is responsible for everything in the Barnsley area

    bus runs late, post is late, Barnsley lose, it rains,you stub your toe,fall of yer bike, miss last orders,burn the toast, bite yer tongue,have the s h i ts, headaches, manflu,can't find a parking place, the till is now closed,traffic light goes to red...... all this and more is actually all down to Mrs Thatcher and the miners strike, did you not know this fact? NO!! then you must be a....

    No, not blaming the strike but blaming ****cher is a good strart. Just look at the pre strike attendances! You know, when there were real jobs in the area.

    Seriously, you're blaming something that happened nearly 30 years ago? I suppose the premier league season was just a blip then.

    this global economy where international money grabbing immoral bankers and execs, that have set up a system where national laws and morals can't touch them is certainly thatchers baby nurtured by international leaders henceforth conceded.
    but its no surprise with that family, son of thatcher tried to destabalise a nation for his own greed.

    Folk prefer to pay £50+ a week and watch Premier League football, which maintains the ludicrous wages of players in that league. If you are a true supportere you go out and support your local teams, whether it be Winsford, Luton Town or Barnsley.

    I know a few "Barnsley fans" who now go to Man U and Man City instead.
