    Just watched this and then realised Watford stayed overnight in a hotel for a midweek evening game! It's only about 30 miles from Watford to Wycombe lol :):D

    Where did they fly into,Barnsley International Airport?? By the time they've cleared Leeds/Bradford or Manchester they could have been half way up the M1 on a good old fashioned coach

    dont know if watford flew up YTBFC but the watford team bus did passed me on the M1 north around chesterfield about 10.30am on friday but the bus had blacked out windows so could not tell if anyone was on the coach

    Could have been the bus to take them from the airport to the hotel then onto the ground. Absolutely bonkers that they flew up though, must have taken longer, or at least as long, to get here than it would on the coach.

    A lot more comfortable I would wager though, which I assume is the whole point.

    Especially this season with so many games, long coach journeys before playing can lead to injury.

    I've worked with him a couple of times this year - he is, indeed, an absolute gent. Possibly the most down-to-earth player I've ever met. Passionate about cycling; he's planning on doing some stages of the TdF route when he retires. Really nice fella.
