DC United just lost their playoff, season over. What chance our next manager?? 10/1 on Skybet Know nowt btw, just an educated guess!!
I will put my house on us being on TV against Derby nar. Sky will not miss chance of showing Rooney’s first game back in England. They will Probly move match to 2nd too cos won’t he be registering for them on 1st? So will move match to 2nd so he can play.
Ben Olsen is only listed by Skybet cos I asked them to cos Murphy worked there previously. Just shows how easily odds are manipulated, we could make him odds on favourite if we all bang a fiver on.
I was thinking this when it got announced Rooney was on his way back, another reason to have 2nd off work.
The market for next Barnsley manager will be so small in relative terms for the bookies that the drop from 22/1 to 14/1 could likely be traced directly to your fiver.
It definitely will be moved because if not, his first game will be in the FA Cup which Sky don't have the rights to.
Anyway, he won't come here, there's bad blood......... http://forest24-7.blogspot.com/2010/11/remember-them-ben-olsen.html?m=1
Maybe I will be proved wrong but I doubt he will play on 2nd if he can only play from 1st Jan. He'll have had 10 weeks or so without football and i'd have thought he won't be eligible to play in reserves to get match fit either.
Think it's a valid point. However, as he's been signed as a player-coach I could still see there being significant interest in the game from sky.
