And as we found out in the summer he gets a lot wrong. I hope he's wrong this time but I fear that if Bournemouth were watching him against Blackpool they might take a gamble on him.

Possible replacement for one of our departed strikers.

You never will build a side with loans.
Loans can cover injuries n suspensions etc but
as for progressing long term as a unit it never works and never will.

Hope he stays I like Ben. But he'd get eaten alive and exposed to fook in the PL!

I know, but that's the trouble with him, he has the odd "decent" game in 10. Too inconsistent & he can go back to Man U for me.

Ben Pearson will never be Championship standard nevermind ready for the PL now. Personally glad we wont have to endure his performances at this level any longer.

Very harsh lol solid at this level and should be playing higher than somebody struggling in a relegation battle.

Definitely got Championship potential but agree, will never be a Premier League player of worth.

Id say he's one of the biggest reasons on the playing side as to why we are struggling in a relegation battle, whether he had a decent game the other day or not.

I think that in a year or two's time he'll be some player, if he wants to learn. He's got a great set of attributes and most of the stuff he needs to work on are things in his head - mental stuff, tactics, positioning, decision making etc.

I don't see him as Championship ready, never mind Premier League, but maybe the clubs in for him (if it's all legit) know that too and are playing the long game?

I'd give him a 6/10 for his time here. Inconsistent. Because he's young and here to develop, to learn. It's why loans like this don't really sit well with me. But he's a mile better than some of the dross we've had in that position in recent years and good luck to the lad in his career.

If we want a loanee replacement, we should be knocking Derby's door down for Jamie Hanson. Will Hughes returns in February, Craig Bryson is back next month and with the other midfielders they have at their disposal Jamie is down the pecking order and a little bird tells me he's available for loan. I've seen him a few times. He's better than Pearson. By some distance.
