Either an old interview or Pearson is rubbish at maths.

'....go out on loan again, hopefully to a Championship side, so it would be good if Barnsley get promoted...'

sorry but Pearson is well of the mark to start for any team in the premier league

Decent player for league 1 or lower championship side at best

Just me think we'd be better sending him back an playing bailey and scowen in the middle for the next 3 games. Done ok but not had the same impact as some other loanees.

I wouldnt mind if he was here or not next season, steady enough player and adds some steel to our midfield but I think theres better options out there.

Good player. Looking a bit jaded last few matches, centre mid is not a priority for our summer recruitment though so wouldn't be fussed if we don't see him again.

Not good enough for the Championship imho. Ideas above his station. Much prefer Scowen missen.

Lower league one level really. Has games where he looks decent enough for a top six league one club but also has many games where he looks like a bottom six player too.

He is more evidence that it is the loan system and not oversees players that are causing the problems with English football.

Just another tippy tappy midfield who loves a sidewards pass and doesn't chip in with enough goals or assists. It's like the days of Dawson, Perkins and Mellis doing the same only he gets away with it more because he's from a big club, even though he's in an easier league to impress.
