Currently playing for Man Utd's U21's against Spurs. Just read an article which states he's set to go to Bournemouth on loan for the rest of the season. Also just read that Dan Crowley has requested to go back out on loan. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Wish we could have gotten him permanently in the Summer or tied down to a longer loan deal. Good luck to him
Crowley on his day would tear this division apart but he couldn't do it consistently. How can a player rip apart a good Everton side and then be piss poor a few weeks late against the likes of Crewe and Shrewsbury at home? I would personally have him back as he adds something that we don't have but definitely think other positions have got to be prioritised before bringing in such a luxury player like Crowley.
He hardly ripped Everton apart. The whole team was better on that night. After the first day at Chessy every team in League 1 had him worked out. He's a skillful player but put him in a 11 v 11 game and he's garbage. Totally ineffective for 90% of his loan spell. Hammill is streets and streets ahead.
What nobody is commenting on is Mr Crynes statement at one of the forums that all the loans other than Crowley were with a view to permanent deals. Now I can understand the players who were not figuring week in week out not being signed but why hasn't Pearson been signed permanently surely a deal was in place to make it permanent if not Cryne was talking ******** again and the club is just acting as a sales pitch for Manures surplus youth players. It's a complete joke that the only loanee from the start of the season to sign is the dodgy keeper.
Pearson didn't want to stay as he hasnt felt appreciated by a lot of our clueless fans. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
I don't thInk we have the bargaining power to demand first dibs on a Man United player. There was probably the option to buy him if United didn't want him and they didn't receive any better offers for him at the end of his loan spell. As is it, he's obviously impressed others while he's been here and a bigger fish has come in for him. There's also what the player wants to consider. I doubt anyone would agree on a permanent move to a league 1 club when he has the opportunity to play in the premier league. Alternatively, if Pearson didn't like the club, was homesick, wanted to go back, who's going to force him to sign? I seriously doubt these loan with the option to buy deals are as cut and dry as everyone makes out. If you send a player out on loan with the option for the other club to buy at the end of the loan period you're going to be pretty pissed off if they dramatically improve and you're tied into some pre-agreed fee and only the buying club has the option to pull out of the deal. It's just not going to happen like that. I doubt the Digby loan is structured like that either. True and ******** aren't the only options.
I don't blame him, some of the things I hear sat near me about not just Pearson but others are just stupid and bordering on idiotic. If they even dare misplace a pass the pitchforks are out. If someone loses the ball a massive groan is let out and then the nerves set in everytime they get it. No wonder we were seeing so many sideways passes, no-one dare do anything. You never know we might be able to tempt Messi in the summer and the fans will be happy.
A deal was in place but Pearson didn't want to come. Didn't feel loved apparently Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pearson has been very poor for large periods of his spell here. He was costing us goal after goal not too long ago.
I don't think it was as bad as goal after goal. The defence and goalkeepers barring probably Bree have been more at fault than Pearson and the midfielders. For example I love Conor but against Blackpool and to a lesser extent Millwall when we have a one goal lead and looking fairly comfortable he's breaking from a 2 man central midfield and leaving Pearson all on his own to deal with his own man and two runners. As it happened we didn't get punished so Conor wasn't made to look bad. I think the general consensus is that they would prefer him to be here rather than not. I think since Pearson signed for us the first time, for 75% of that period the whole club as a whole has been poor from top to bottom. Can't exactly expect a young lad on loan to bring the whole team out of the **** we were being served up. The fact that Bournemouth are in for him should tell everyone something. Eddie Howe as you know, isn't daft.
I made a very similar point a couple of days ago and I asked somebody to ask Ben this very question on that football report thing they do on the radio.
