    First, Saturday showed that Micky wasn't "so fine" and you acted swiftly, given the inevitable conclusions to be drawn.

    Second, [for all I know] you appear to have had regard to the people's choice.

    Third, you got the right man.

    Fourth, the live video of the press conference was excellent - at last, excellent communications with the fanbase!

    I'm sure the first half of this season has been a "character-forming" experience! But you are now in a good place to take us further forward, particularly if Danny can work some magic.

    So well done old chap!

    for the record, i thought the conference was great. my comments re. taylor are intended in jest and i think ben mansford is a very articulate and astute young CEO. another chapter begins, let's see how it pans out....

    My only criticism of the press conference is that it was on at 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon when I'm at work.

    Watching press conferences in works time is probably frowned up...and I could have got in trouble :cool:
