How did he stay on the pitch? Persistant fouling, dirty tackles, first involved raising his hands when Jennings was hard done by with been on the worse end of a two footed lunge. Yes Jenning went in but there bloke went in worse. At it all game going doing down when not touched. On the other side of things, McManaman, McCarthy are too good for them in this league so although they will be confident of walking the league. Will they be ad confident when they stars leave this month.
I think Jennings should have played them at their own game. As soon as they crowded round him he should have held is face and gone down in a heap. I hate cheating but i like to see someone "out cheated"
Shame about Watson, because he was by far the best player on the pitch without all that. We matched them first half and the persistent fouling kept us from creating more chances. Maybe each foul was just on the right side of a booking, but to keep thwarting every attack illegally and be allowed to get away with it is ******** reffing of the highest order.

How did he stay on the pitch? Simple, we had a useless biased ref who was blind to their cheating fouling tactics but clamped down hard on everything we did. First game into the season and I want to beat seven shades out of the officials already. Great start, and it's not going to get much better.
What a load of crap! Watson was the best player on the field. Jennings was unprofessional, and gave the referee the option to make the decision he did. We were unlucky/the ref was biased/they were cheats.......... all a load of fekkin crap. We can still do OK this season, but some folks on here need to get real!
Who said anything about the rest of the season? The question was about Watson and up to Jennings being sent off they had committed foul after foul after foul and in almost every case the fouls had gone unpunished.
But was the lunge on Jennings worse than what he did? Agree in the persistent fouling. Every one when we broke was a blatant yellow. Just gutter we never really gave it a go through. Dawson was always the wrong side of play. Hope he was a bit rusty but think Etuhu will make a difference.
