The phrase swings and roundabouts springs to mind

Wenger must be smirking at that.

I must admit for some of the outfield fouls he did seem to favour Chelsea but could easily have given a Pen against Carragher

and its hardly the refs fault Liverpool (Torres in particular) missed some golden chances. Or the Refs fault that the dopey Norwegian didnt know you need the skill of Odejayi to head a ball at ankle height over the bar from 3 yards

It was just outside the box

but the ref didnt give anything even though Caragher slid in missed the ball and took the man - a bit like Souza's challenge against Hull

Free kick on the edge of the box the correct decision but as Drgoba fell in the box some refs could easily have given a pen

    I don't agree

Drogba leant on Carragher, which caused him to fall, which in turn brought Drogba down. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. The ref got it right. Souza, on the other hand, just dove in and brought the Hull guy down.

I agree with Jay, never a pen or free kick, ref got it right

can i ask which team you too wanted to win, cause i would guess liverpool, got to be a freekick due to the fact carrager completley missed the ball

    Don't care for either team

So didn't mind who won. Drogba knocked Carragher down just as much as the other way round.

I think I need to see it again

My initial thought was it was a foul but I would need to look at what Drogba was doing - just shows how hard a job the refs have sometimes.

i agree that drogba played as much a part in the players going down, but carragher nows if he miss times a tackle and it causes (maybe only in part) the opposition to fall down, then he will be penalised for it

    Now I am confused

are you saying that if Drogba was fouling Carragher causing him to lose his balance and mis time a tackle but because of that Drogba then falls over Carragher should be penalised??

In any case Carragher wasnt penalised

no, because i don't think the pressure put on carragher by drogba caused the mis timing of the tackle
