Benitez lauds Barnsley's European credentials

    From the BBC:

    "Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez says (Liverpool's) progression to the quarter-finals of the Champions League shows the quality of the Premier League. Benitez said: 'It shows the quality of the Premier League and especially the quality of the top four.'"

    That be the top four that are all out of the FA Cup, two of them at our hands?

    Champions League is the best club competition in the world. 4 of the remaining 8 are from the premiership, the best league in the world. As long as they avoid each other, they're most likely to be the last 4 in the competition, and we've beaten 2 of them, one on their own patch.

    the most bizarre season ever?

    all the teams in europe out of the fa cup and all the teams in europe are still in!

    I conclude the championship is the strongest league in europe because of this relationship!
