    Bought for 1.5 million from Nice why on earth did we not look to sign him fits the age criteria and would easily be our best player, I like wilks but for a similar fee I know who I would be taking especially as we were originally gonna be working in close contact with nice. Pathetic

    We probably did put a 2 million bid in but offered him £300 a week.

    We pay Micky Mouse wages compared to other clubs so although we can agree fees, we cant agree wages.

    We were in League One when they signed him, no chance of him coming here- probably on at least 10k a week, made Cav look daft at times.

    When did they sign Ollie Watkins? He's another we should have been looking at when he was at Exeter but to be honest that could have been before the current board took over.

    Missed an absolute sitter when Watkins hit the woodwork twice within 5 seconds but agreed, he had an overall good game.

    Said it in another thread, Brentford are running a similar plan to us but are ahead of us in terms of it and can buy/sell players at higher rates than what we do. Hopefully we’ll get to their level with it but if we keep having to get promoted out of league 1 then we’ll never full fill and maximise the plan.
