when i was driving for hansons,we had feed tankers for Poultry
a new venture in the60,s
farms had tanks where we attached a pipe
and blew the food tot the tanks
one day i was to deliver to Bernard matthews
arriving there
iwas met by Him
and the feed bins he had were
made of wood, and the method of putting the food to those bins was by trucks with an OGRE thes bins were 30 foot high
i had no way of putting in the food
i had to climb to the top of the Bin
use all my pipes,,fasten it
then blow the,food in
Now mr matthews said i had to feed those birds
for 8 weeks,we had other vehicles
but he wanted me to do it
he was there each time i went,moaning and groaning
the feed was getting ground to dust
well the 8 weeks ended
and when deliverd the last load
the workers said
when to go round the corner of the site,stop,and look in the hedge bottom
i did, and there was the Biggest turkey you have ever seen
unplucked, so, when barnsley play Norwich
i shout my ffin hed off
