Won more headers than Hemmings or Cole and only half their size.

Said that to my daughter - for a small lad, he wins alot in the air. Had a very good game today.

Bonus of having that headband on today - no quiff rearrangement required to distract him.

I'm always mesmorised by the way he sticks his leg out at full stretch by instinct and the ball just sticks to him like a magnet. He must be incredibly flexible.

Fully agree. Looking a little tired of late, but even then still gives 110% even in the final minutes. Battles for everything and rarely wastes the ball.

He does in most games. Brilliant in the air for such a small kid. Winnall wins plenty too, despite not having the stature. And Lita's alright at it. Cole and Hemmings, not so much, but I thought both were a handful all game yesterday, so I can live with the fact that they'll never win many headers.

Wouldn't be in my top 5 POTS so far. He's OK and I think he's alright but I don't see why he's talked up so much. Would like for him to chip in with some goals.

Good player Berry a favourite of mine. But given his goals/assist record Hourihane is clearly our most influential player. He's had a poor few weeks but take his goals (as many as Cole and Winnall combined in the league) and creativity out of the team and we would be rock bottom. Player of the season by a country mile.

Cole doesn't even attempt to header the ball if its come for a big punt down field, he looks terrified of it

Berry is my favourite player, love his energy and tenacity and he is certainly not short on ability. Agree about Hourihane being our most influential player though due to his goals and assists. That doesn't necessarily make him everyone's POTS though, otherwise how have GKs won it in the past? Or Hassell?

Goalies and defenders usually win when you have no stand out creative/attacking players, like last season with COG this season in terms of contribution CH is far ahead of anyone else. Nowt against Berry who is probably my favourite player.

Berry's not small. Love the lads attitude & fight though.

Hourihane's player of the season so far by a mile.

No offence to anyone but I think you're mental if you don't agree

He's 5ft 9. Not small but not exactly tall either.

Depends how you measure the contribution. Hourihane has been great and i don't think i would be mental voting Berry over anyone else right now. Plenty of the season to go though. One thing i do like about our Midfield when we play 4, is the balance. Hourihane, goal scoring midfielder, Bailey as a good passing anchor and Berry who will fill all the gaps across the park, track and support defence and break play up. Add to that a Jennings when he is on form (like now) or Williams and we look ok. I do think another grafting Mid would help too to help change and freshen things up. Certainly not a complete unit as yet. Berry BTW added a few occasional goals at Cambs. Very consistent and still only 22.

I completely agree about the midfield 4.

The diamond left Bailey exposed with Berry & Hourihane out wide. We look a lot more solid.

I rate Berry too, just think Hourihane's miles in front of everybody else

Big fan of Berry, but have to agree that Hourihane is out on his own at the moment.

People may be taking his contribution for granted. Where would we be without him?

He may not control the game like a Butterfield used to do, but double figures for goals and assists in December from Midfield...!
