    Nice choice.

    Was gonna go for Blakey, Elvin or Max Roach as a jazz drummer.
    Leibezeit from Can was hypnotic.
    I'll add Tony Allen, who invented "afrobeat", working with Fela. Saw both him & Ginger Baker together at Walthamstow Jazz festival about 5 years ago, before they both passed on. Thurston Moore played there too...
