they made Chelsea look quite ordinary - that was truely a TEAM performance. The support was unbelievable fro start to finish whilst theirs was very muted. What a difference to the 6-0 defeat in the prem, when they had less support on the old kop. Just hope that we can retain some of fans that went last night for the rest of the home games along with the vocal support.

I can't understand why they all disappear - and they probably will again. It's occasions like yesterday that keeps it in your blood - surely! I would have thought we keep achieving enough at regular intervals to keep the most fickle happy.

    Team performance

    Yes, great team performance
But special mention to JCR...........who ran and ran and ran
also Odejayi caused them problems and Hassel made some important tackles

Devaney was probably the worst player for us but they backed off him for a second and he pinged over an accurate cross straight onto Kayodis head.........so he played an important part
So all round brilliant performance by all

    Been the same for years

In the sixties when I STARTED SUPPORTING them 1961 v Leicester 39K home games 5k 1963 v Everton 38k Home games 4-5K 1964 v Man U 38K average home games 4-5k. Never ecer did I envisage the success that the team has had over the past 30 years. some might say what success but when I watched them in the the sixties and seventies There was little to get positive about - Allan Clarke started the change at the club and Simon Davey appears to have similar standards.
