Call me paranoid / cynical whatever...

    But how come Middlesbrough (one of the worst) is described as being in the north-east of England but Harrogate (one of the best) is described as being in the centre of the UK (as opposed to the north of England)?!?

    Like it's not possible for anything nice to be "oop north"...

    For those who missed it....

    Best = Winchester

    Worst = Hackney (also 5 London boroughs in the top 10!)

    Just goes to prove what a shithole London is [IMG]

    I can only see 4 London Boroughs in top 10.

    2 in Wales

    1 in Northen Ireland

    Plus 3 big towns / cities

    I can vouch for Merthyr and Newham being in the bottom 10. I've worked in both in my time - I never felt safe in Newham, even in broad daylight, and Merthyr is just depressing.

    Winchester is very nice - can see why it is rated.

    Hackney..........

    I can vouch for the place - absolute shithole it certainly is!! Did they mention all the shootings that have gone off along a certain stretch of road? I think it's over a distance of just one mile there were loads of shootings on this road last year.
