Mine would probably be one of our trips to Peterborough for the atmosphere. Liverpool in the FA Cup or Huddersfield in the Play Offs.
Liverpool in the Prem and FA cup even though I missed Howard's winner. Birmingham away in Play offs Leicester away under Hill Dagnall debut MK Dons under Flicker Sheff Utd to go top for Xmas, and sending the cnuts down Charlton under Hill great away following £5 a ticket Wallsall to claim the play off spot
Beating Leeds away 2-1 when they won the old 2nd Division. Electric atmosphere in ground and outside once we got out. Taggart putting Sterland over the perimeter boards sticks in my mind.
Some of the followings in the early 80's...Millmoor,Hillsborough, Brammall Lane..Etc....And Fulham on a Friday night I think it was....Amazing.
Sheffield United away promotion to premier league ( if he turns he will score ) that's so typical of the man Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
best-ist fan size can't beat liverpool or middlesboro early 80''s but stoke 3-3 for me, replay was an humdinger too best 2 cup ties ive ever seen as a fan
That would have to be mine. But Charlton away under the berk was good. Absolutely ballacksed as were the whole away end...
We didnt get in until Feckin half time at Stoke...and thats only cos the Coppers opened the big gates.......Hillsborough wasn't too long after....
Sunderland 1998, first team to beat them at Stadium of Light. Ashley ward , scored, missed a pen and got sent off .I might not have got that right about the pen, but i was rather drunk
Yes it was Mark Gary Pierce Gashed open his knee early in the game. Malcolm Mc Donald was Fulhams Manager.
A number of games come to mind Liverpool away in the FA Cup, Hull away on a Tuesday night a few years ago when we lost 3-1, Sheff United and Oldham last year were cracking days out and Man City in FA Cup a few years ago. Some because of the day out and as because of the result. All appreciated because of lager, apart from Liverpool.
Lots of mine already mentioned, but I'd have to go with either the relegation party at Bumhole Lane or the final day madness in Huddersfield.
