Mine : Sean Connery Daniel Craig Roger Moore Timothy Dalton Pierce Brosnon George lazenby ( lack of appearances - probably would have been above brosnan!)
First Bond film I ever saw at the flicks was The Spy Who Loved Me (best Bond theme ever by the way), and I loved the Roger Moore shtick when I was a kid, but with the odd exception, not even a deep swell of nostalgic affection can prevent me from cringing at large chunks of his Bond films now. Much like myself, they're not ageing well, whereas Connery's films still have that fairly cool sixties vibe, which I think always helps his case to be regarded as the best Bond. However I think Brosnan may be a decent shout for the best of all, he seemed to nail both Connery's aloofness and agression while still having Moore's tongue firmly in cheek, certainly Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies are among the better Bond films.
