Steele, Cranie, M'Voto, Nyatanga, Golbourne, Kennedy, Wiseman, Hassell

If I had to pick a back four out of those, it would be:

    Golbourne, Nyatanga, Cranie, Wiseman.

I'd be over the moon if Flicker decided to go with:

    Steele

    Cranie, M'voto, Nyatanga

    Golbourne LWB
    Wiseman RWB

    Perkins, Digby, Mellis

    O'Grady, Dagnall

    Subs:
    Jennings
    Dawson
    Cywka
    Scotland
    Alnwick
    Kennedy

I'm optimistic but it's yet to prove itself. Out of that lot there are two who have been relegated from the C'ship and three who are stepping up from Lge 1. But if Flicker can get the best out of them it has pedigree written all over it. I think it is important, Wiseman and Cranie firm up straight away and give M'Vito and Lewin time to find their feet. Potentially, formidable though, I agree.

This IS the XI for Saturday....

    ---------------------------Steele

    ---------Cranie------------M'Voto-------Kennedy

    Wiseman-----------------------------------------Golbourne
    -----------------Perkins----------Dawson
    --------------------------Mellis

    ----------------------O'Grady---Dagnall

The 442 practice has been just that - practice. Also helps to confuse Joe Bloggs from Wigan watching in the stands.

Personally, I'd prefer Hassell, McNulty or Nyatanga over Kennedy for this particular game. But I do see the value in TK playing there. The 'quarterback' as Flicker refers to him. Some of his balls into COG and Daggers were often overlooked whilst the likes of the aforementioned strikers and Mellis etc took the plaudits.

Tell you what, though... looking at the possible subs bench, we can now see definite game changers (Jason Jason, Jenno, JOB, Cywka, RNL etc etc).
