agree on the FNM point but at least their earlier stuff had a bit of life unlike the MOR they have been peddling this century

Think that's why I've never been a fan. Some of the old stuff has it's moments, but like you say, everything in the last 8 years or so has just been so dull. Still decent musically, but just doesn't do much for me. Shame though because Frusciante (spelling?) and Flea are amazing musicians, and if I'm honest I've never liked Kiedis; either as a front man in general or as a vocalist, think he detracts from the music. Especially noticed this when I saw reading highlights last year was it? There'd be some really cool instrumental sections, and then he would sing.
