That must have been an experience to see them live - one of my favourite albums is Dark Side of the Moon, in my opinion the whole concept of the album is pure genius

Went downhill as soon as Syd left. The real genius behind The Floyd.

They played DSOM in its entirety for the 2nd half of the gig - was recorded for the Pulse DVD (VHS in those days!).

Been to dozens of gigs & even the very best of them come nowhere close..

Saw them at Knebworth 1975, shut your eyes and you'd have thought the album was playing, open them they might as well of had the album playing. Skynyrd the next year however gave a master class in how to upstage the 'biggesst group in the World'... Rolling Stones . Difficult to narrow the best gig down but I'd probably say Deep Purple 1973 Sheffield City Hall , Blackmore at his peak unforgetable

For the memories Stone Roses at spike Island For seeing a man larger than life Johnny Cash. For the adrenalin rush the Prodigy on numerous occasions in the late 90s for the love the Smiths on their last tour. For the music alone probably either early PJ Harvey gigs or seeing the pixies live in their pomp.

Well having ready peoples replies and being slightly jealous at some of them!! My favourite gig has to be Oasis at Knebworth in 1996, capped off an amazing summer with one of the best gigs (the support acts were headline material) I have had the pleasure of attending. SO glad I turned down the stupid offer I had for my ticket the day before.

I would have to say The Beatles at Leeds Odeon, 1963. That was pretty good.
