I know it seems like just about every player in the league has had a field day against us this season, but which player did you think stood out? At home I thought Troy Deeney for Watford looked the real business and we had no idea how to handle him. And away I thought James Coppinger was very good but the best performance I thought was from Richard Dunne at QPR, no flare to his play obvious but the man was like a mountain and was solid all game, and on a day we didn't play badly at all. Strange choices some may say but there you go!
Nobody has been particularly good against us to be honest, at times we've just been awful. If I was pushed for an answer, then Neil Danns for Bolton, the game changed when he went off.
Zat Knight for Bolton at home on Boxing Day. Immense! Won everything in the air and on the deck. Martialled defence to a clean sheet! I watched him and paid particular attention to hos game, outstanding.
I can't spell his name not even going to attempt to he plays for Wigan sounds like French for hello with shaw on end
Anya and Deeney for Watford absolutely destroyed us. David Dunn was also very good in the home game for Blackburn.
I don't know if it is just because it was a recent game but the stand out performance of any player this season has been David Dunn. I thought he was absolute quality against us and looked every bit a premier league player.
It's hard to remember too far back in the season but Dunn for Blackburn and Hunt for Ipswich were different gravy.
Chris Maguire, Wednesday. Conned the referee all game, clever he is. Great technique, we couldn't get near him. Scored the winner with his only chance, from 20 yards out. Consigned us to our cruelest defeat of the season, against that bastárd lot. Honorable mentions for Watson, Anya and Harriott.
