A pair of cuff links from my brother & his wife

Got a few other good things, some asked for, some surprises, but the cuff links were the best.

3 points and a Bottle of 10y.o. Glenkinchie

Bought a bottle missen because I did not think anyone would buy me any.

Good stock now but I need to improve on my collection before I sup it all. I would like to get my stock levels up to 20 or so different Malts.

    Ah

Your beer was a pre-Christmas present!

All gone now, drained the last one last night. I was so impressed with the selection, you can buy me some more anytime you want. :)

Can you believe that my brother and his wife bought me the John Humphries (BBC Newsreader) book "Lost For Words" about "the mangling and manipulating of the English language"?!

Got some decent pressies.........none stand out overall but many are thought out (thanks to Amazon wish lists for some of those!)
Got DVD of "Friday Night Lights" and a book about the history of soccer in the US.

My Grandad's old pocket watch has been repaired after the Mrs took it in to some place in Bromley - cost a fair bit by all accounts.
Back at work today and a bit of a twot it was too! One of those 'problematic' days.

Eaststander old chap, what's the book about US footie like?
