Best route for driving to Burnley?

Seems to be several feasible routes according to Google Maps, all taking roughly the same time.

 

All the area around Rochdale is full of speed cameras. Every mile or so there's another speed camera.

 

I always take the long way round the motorways - much longer but no slower and the expected timing is more accurate. Go the back routes and you can lose an hour in the queues and traffic lights and generally slow single lane roads.
