    fools good isn't even the best stone roses track - waterfall or she bangs the drums are better in my view

    mine would be:

    better days - ignite
    recovering the opposable thumbs - the lawrence arms
    famous friends and fashion drunks - a wilhelm scream

    course, may faves change every week:)

    One of my all time favourite bands.</p>

    When in rome &amp; Leggy Mambo are top albums.</p>

    Not heard too much afterwards but Purple Love Baloon is fantastic.</p>

    Carl Putnam...you fat Barsteward..decent voice though and top, top live act in the eighties.</p>

    My fave lines..hits a nerve.</p>

    I was a teenage stamp collector</p>

    I'ld lay on my back and you stamp on my face</p>

    And in the Yorkshire town where I lived</p>

    There were stamp collectors all over the place</p>

    i think i saw cud at the leadmill 1989 , supporting mega city 4 i think !! pretty hazy but it rings a bell ,

    didnt see them again till 1993 down in portsmouth and it was probably all going downhill for them by then ! good times tho..
