Who was the best out and out winger who ever lived? Just watching Saka and it made me wonder. Bob Earnshaw’s a given.

Not necessarily the best, but a bloomin' good winger and a tricky blighter.. Eddie Gray.

Overmars when we were in the prem or ryan giggs. I'm too young to remember best.

I think the old fashioned winger is dying with teams playing different formations such as 532 with wingbacks 433 etc. Rather than 442 with a winger running at defenders. The last winger we had here I enjoyed watching was jacob brown. Before that, hammill, devaney and jcr could all get you off your seat when they received the ball.

The best performance from any winger I ever saw at Oakwell was David Ginola by a country mile.

I don’t think I’d argue he was the best but one of my favourites was Pavel Nedved.

I loved watching him play especially in Euro 96 & Euro 2004 for the Czechs & the Italian football I used to watch on a Sunday morning.
