Better start to the season than last year

    Some people don't care about this cup, but one of my favourite memories of being a Barnsley fan was the Swansea, Peterborough, Brighton, Man City, Liverpool run. Summat like that again would do nicely.

    totally agree, a good run would do us the world of good

    in either cup, or dare I say it BOTH.

    It had more credibility back then. It was then what the FA cup is now, euro qualification having devalued that one.

    If we can stay in it, it means useful, competitive games for a right motley squad to settle in and take some kind of shape, however deformed that may be.
