This chap in Thirsk who has one a £million with a 50p bet ..... all his 8 horses won. Is that what is known as an accumulator ?
Also, was it a true 50p only or was it 50p per horse.
I'm not right into betting, but I found 50p in my sock drawer this morning, so rather than blowing it on a Mars Bar .........

TIA

Yes and Yes It was an eight horse accumulator on a straight 50p bet. All 8 win, you win. Any of them lose, you lose.
Can I do one of those "online" ? This is a man who's only bets were on the Grandnational as a kid. I won 92p once on a 10p bet on Red Rum. Gerrin !
Yep - in fact they'll even pay for your bet Most online bookies give you a signing on bonus, tpically something like you put a tenner into your account and they'll match it. Then you've got to bet it at least once before you can withdraw it. Bet365 is quite easy to use - I use that and William Hill. If you sign up for Bet365 via the BFC official ***** I think the club might even get some kickback but I'm not sure. With Bet365 you just click on the horses then select "multiple bet options" on the betting slip and put your stake against "Eight-Folds 1@", or however many you picked. It'll work out the odds for you.
Cheers ! I'll let you know in the morning. Unless I'm a millionaire, in which case I'll let you know in a couple of weeks when I get back from Rio.
He should have won about £2m with the odds but the bookies have a £1m limit.
And get some work gone!

Ah, WFH. Same here (loosely). Though cycling from home will be a more apt description in 5 minutes. See if I can manage the Bingley Bash and get back in time for school.
