Southend 1/2 8/15 8/15
Leeds 4/7 8/15 4/7
QPR 11/10 5/46/5
Barnsley 5/4 11/10 6/5
Luton 5/411/8 6/5
Hull6/5 6/511/8
Ipswich 10 910
Burnley 89 12

Personally I think QPR are in real trouble with the run-in from hell

Right

Those odds are ranked, so the teams they think are most likely to go down are at the top and have the "worst" odds i.e. you win the least amount because the bookie thinks it's more likely to happen (and also there's an elelment of how many people have bet on it - lots of people bet on something the odds go down because the bookie stands to lose more money if that outcome happens ... which is why England are generally such short odds for winning the World Cup - in this country at least)

5/4 for us is 1 and a quarter to 1. So if you put a quid on us to go down and (god forbid) it happens you'd win £1.25 as well as getting your £1 stake back

Burnely at 8 means for every pound you get back you'd win £8 if they got relegated (plus getting your £1 stake back) so bet £5 and they go down you'd get (£5 x 8) = £40 + £5 stake = £45 back

Cheers

That's actually quite helpful...

Confusing but I'm smart enough to get my head round it :)

Get your money on burnley to go down!

12 to 1 is very good money for a team whose current form puts them on 45 points

12/1 does look very enticing though. Ipswich at 10/1 also.

Look at their current form and run in and 12 to 1 is generous!

Current form: They haven't won since 28th November.

7 Points from last 14 games.
In recent past they have lost to QPR 3 -1

H Palace 1
A Southend 1
A Preston 0
H Luton 1
H Plymouth 0
A Birmingham 0
H Cardiff 0
A Leeds 3
H Norwich 1
H West Brom 0
A Sunderland 0
H Coventry 1

8 points from next games is not unreasonable.

Puts them on 48 points and in a great deal of risk.

I'm not saying it's a cert, but it's the best value bet I've seen in a long time.
